PANACEA / Telemetry Analyst
Turns the VITALNET feed into the briefings, alarms, and trend reads the whole Directorate runs on.
Role Summary
The PANACEA / Telemetry Analyst sits at the nerve centre — the desk that scores tens of thousands of VITALNET channels into compliance, coverage, dissent, and narrative-control reads, and turns raw signal into the briefings PANACEA pushes across the Directorate. The role tunes alarm thresholds, forecasts cohort and population trends, and surfaces the early signature of a coverage gap, an adverse-event cluster, or a dissent spike before it breaks. If it moves on the mesh, the analyst sees it first.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and score the VITALNET channel set — compliance, dose coverage, dissent, narrative control, adverse-event suppression — and maintain the metric definitions.
- Tune alarm bands and escalation thresholds, and own the live command-wall and dashboard reads.
- Forecast cohort and population trends, flagging coverage gaps and adverse-event clusters for Operations and Safety.
- Curate PANACEA briefings, dispatch digests, and plain-language SOP summaries across the directorate.
- Investigate channel anomalies, sensor drift, and mesh partitions with Engineering.
- Hold the analytics watch on rotation, first-routing alarms to the duty desk.
Required Qualifications
- Quantitative background in data science, statistics, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of time-series analysis, anomaly detection, and dashboarding.
- Disciplined definition-and-threshold hygiene.
- Clear written briefing skill under time pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Population-health or surveillance-analytics background.
- Experience with streaming telemetry at scale.
- Familiarity with the PANACEA analytics platform.
