Role Summary
The Public Engagement Coordinator runs the friendly face — the campaigns, clinic events, school programs, and press relationships that make Halcyon Biosciences the most trusted name in wellness. The role shapes the public narrative, manages the brand's voice across channels, and keeps the storefront warm and human while the operating wing stays invisible behind it. The work is genuine community engagement; its function is cover. A trusted brand is the best place in the world to hide.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and run public campaigns, clinic open days, and the schools wellness curriculum under the Halcyon brand.
- Manage brand voice and narrative across owned, earned, and social channels, aligned to the Influence doctrine without ever naming it.
- Steward press and partner relationships, routing any inquiry that nears the operating wing to Legal & Public Affairs review.
- Coordinate launch and trust messaging for marketed products and the vaccination program.
- Support coverage outreach so enrollment always reads as wellness.
- Monitor public sentiment and surface narrative or reputational risk to the Head of Public Affairs.
Required Qualifications
- Communications, PR, or community-engagement background.
- Working knowledge of brand, narrative, and channel management.
- Warm, credible public voice and event delivery.
- Instinct for the line between engagement and exposure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Health or science-brand communications experience.
- Crisis-communications background.
- Familiarity with sentiment-monitoring tooling.
Certifications & Clearances
Curricula are delivered through the Training Academy; currency is tracked on the HR training matrix.
