Role Summary

The Vector Fleet Engineer keeps PANOPTICON's reach airborne — the drone fleet that carries surveillance, mesh relay, and aerosol-dispersal payloads where continuity is threatened. The role services airframes, dispersal heads, and payload bays, manages charge and readiness, and certifies every unit before it leaves the bay. The fleet is only as ready as its last service, and dispatch never waits.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Service, charge, and pre-flight the Vector drone fleet across the surveillance, relay, and dispersal classes, logging readiness to VITALNET.
  2. Maintain aerosol and payload-dispersal heads to sealed-handling standard, with two-person verification on any restricted load.
  3. Diagnose and repair airframe, power, and comms faults, escalating any restricted-payload anomaly to the Fleet Lead and Biocontainment.
  4. Stage and certify units for dispatch, confirming payload, range, and fail-safe before release.
  5. Hold the bay watch during active campaigns, turning units around against coverage demand.
  6. Keep the fleet log, service history, and restricted-payload custody trail audit-clean.
